Terms of service
Last updated: 2026-10-17
These terms apply to your use of the ShipMeter: Free Shipping Bar app for Shopify (“ShipMeter”). By installing the app you agree to them and to the Shopify Terms of Service.
1. What ShipMeter does
ShipMeter displays a progress message towards a free‑shipping threshold that you enter. It does not create, change or guarantee shipping rates, discounts or prices. You are responsible for keeping the thresholds in ShipMeter consistent with your shipping settings in Shopify and for the texts shown to your customers.
2. Trial and billing
New stores can start a 3‑day free trial once; no charge is made during the trial. After it, the bar is shown only with an active paid plan ($4.99/month or $49.90/year, plus applicable taxes), billed by Shopify. You can cancel at any time in Shopify admin; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow Shopify’s billing rules.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use ShipMeter to mislead customers, to break the law or Shopify’s policies, or to attempt to access other stores’ data.
4. Availability and support
We aim for high availability but provide the app “as is”. If ShipMeter cannot confirm your access or reach its servers, the bar is hidden rather than showing a wrong amount. Support is provided by e‑mail at sasha.chyrskyy@gmail.com.
5. Data
Data is processed as described in the privacy policy. You may uninstall the app
at any time; your data is then deleted following Shopify’s shop/redact request.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, ShipMeter is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after the change means acceptance.
